两年一度的亚洲角膜病年会是亚洲角膜病领域最大最权威并在世界范围内最具影响力的行业盛会。经过精心筹备的第五届亚洲角膜病年会于2016年12月9日，在韩国首尔美丽的峨嵯山麓喜来登酒店盛大开幕，吸引了来自全世界1000余位角膜病重量级专家齐聚一堂，同时邀请到来自世界角膜病领域的领军学者进行学术交流，分享世界角膜病领域的最新研究成果和成就。

由我院谢立信院士、史伟云教授、高华教授、李素霞副教授组成的专家团受邀参加大会。

作为亚洲角膜病年会的荣誉主席，谢立信院士担任主持人并做了多个大会发言。作为大会特别邀请的发言专家，史伟云教授分别做了题为《Femtosecond Laser-assisted Deep Lamellar Keratoplasty for Advanced Keratoconus》、《A Refractory Case of Corneal Ulcer》的专家演讲，并作为主持人主持了大会Basic Corneal Research and Imaging环节。作为大会特别邀请的发言专家，高华教授在大会Corneal Infection环节做了题为《Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplastyin the Treatment of Infectious Keratiis》的专家演讲。我院李素霞副教授作为大会自由发言嘉宾为大家奉献了精彩纷呈的演讲。

我院各位专家的精彩发言赢得了在场来自世界各地专家的高度赞扬，代表着中国眼科专家向世界发出了来自中国眼科领域的权威声音，证明着中国眼科专家正在走向世界舞台，发挥着越来越重要的作用。

本次我院专家受邀参加亚洲角膜病年会，是继今年10月史伟云教授受美国哈佛大学附属麻省总院邀请，在著名的麻省总医院（MGH）Bulfinch楼的Ether Dome（“乙醚厅”）就生物工程角膜研发和临床应用情况进行演讲后的又一次盛大国际学术交流。

2018年第六届亚洲角膜病年会将在美丽的青岛召开，作为会议的承办单位，山东省眼科研究所（医院）也在积极进行细致筹备工作。在本次大会晚宴上，共同大会主席史伟云教授、谢立信院士发表了邀请演讲，向在场的及全世界眼科同道发出“世界学术盛宴，相约美丽青岛”的邀约。

Experts of Our Hospital Returned from the 5th Asia Cornea Society Biennial Scientific Meeting with Honor

The Asia Cornea Society Biennial Scientific Meeting is the largest and the most authoritative meeting in keratopathy in Asia and one of the most influential events in this field in the world. The opening of the 5th Asia Cornea Society Biennial Scientific Meeting was held, after elaborate preparations, on December 9, 2016, at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill, Gwangjin gu, Seoul, South Korea. More than 1,000 well-known experts in corneal diseases around the world were invited to the meeting and leading scholars in keratopathy gathered here for academic exchanges, sharing the latest research outcomes and achievements.

Academician Lixin XIE, Prof. Weiyun SHI, Prof. Hua GAO and associate professor Suxia LI were invited to the meeting.

As the honorary president of the Asia Cornea Society Biennial Scientific Meeting, Academician XIE served as a moderator and delivered speeches. As one of the invited speakers, Prof. SHI delivered two speeches titled “Femtosecond Laser-assisted Deep Lamellar Keratoplasty for Advanced Keratoconus” and “A Refractory Case of Corneal Ulcer” and hosted the Basic Corneal Research and Imaging Section. As one of the invited speakers, Prof. GAO presented “Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty in the Treatment of Infectious Keratitis” in the Corneal Infection Section. Associate professor LI also delivered an excellent speech.

The Chinese experts have transmitted the authoritative voice from the Chinese ophthalmology to the world. The wonderful speeches delivered by the experts of our institution have won high praise from the experts all over the world. Chinese experts are playing an increasingly important role in this field.

This is another huge academic activity that our experts were invited to after Prof. SHI was invited by Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) to deliver speeches on the development and clinical application of bioengineered cornea in the Ether Dome of Bulfinch Building at MGH.

The 6th Asia Cornea Society Biennial Scientific Meeting will be held in Qingdao in 2018. As the organizer, Shandong Eye Institute (Hospital) is actively preparing for the meeting. At the conference dinner, Prof. SHI, the co-chair, and Academician XIE delivered speeches, inviting the ophthalmologists all over the world to Qingdao.
